The lacing detail on the back cinches just right and the two-tone lace catches light beautifully in person. Also glad the front is lined — feels more substantial than most lace shorts I've tried.

I was worried the two-tone lace would look cheap but it's actually really delicate with a subtle shine. The ladder cutout details on the front sides add a nice touch without feeling overdone, and the back lacing sits flat under clothes. Fits true to size and the front lining is comfortable.
